National Science Foundation (NSF) Student Travel Grants (for US students only)

We are excited to announce the United States National Science Foundation (NSF) Student Travel Grant program for RSS 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland. We are very grateful for the financial support from the National Science Foundation. Regrettably, RSS cannot offer travel support to non-US students. We sincerely hope this will change in the future.

Each NSF travel grant recipient will receive up to USD 500 towards air fare on a US carrier for travel to and from Zurich. Costs for a flight on non-US carriers cannot be reimbursed. If you travel on the plane of a US carrier but purchased a ticket from a non-US carrier through code-shares, we will also not be able to reimburse you.

To qualify for this travel grant, you have to

  1. Have an accepted paper at the RSS 2008 main conference
  2. Be a full-time student at a US university at the time of the conference
  3. Register for the conference by May 22, 2008

The application deadline was May 1, 2008.

We would like to thank George Lee and the National Science Foundation for generously supporting RSS.
